The work is underway to timely return the Georgian citizens back to the Country- stated the Ambassador of Georgia to Turkey, Irakli Koplatadze.

Koplatadze who is currently in Istanbul spoke about the situation and reiterated that no Georgian citizens died as a result of a terrorist bombing.

According to him, by this time the identification process of the dead has been almost completed. Irakli Koplatadze says that until now the consulate has not received the information o the Georgian citizens.

"As the Turkish government official said, there are foreigners among 36 dead and more than 140 injured, 6 of which are in serious condition. The majority of victims are Turkish citizens, At the moment, no information has been received about Georgian citizens.
