Turkey is mourning the victims of the terrorist attack. According to the latest data,41 people were killed in the explosions, 13 of them were foreign nationals, while the number of injured has reached up to 240. Muslim tradition, the dead have been already buried . The one-day mourning was declared in the country, State flags on government buildings were lowered.

The investigation is trying to identify the attackers using footage from security cameras, mobile phones and video materials taken by witnesses. Police did not rule out the possibility that a terrorist attack was staged by foreign fighters. Reportedly, the intelligence service warned the law-enforcement agencies of possible attack 20 days ago , and Ataturk Airport was named as one of the targets . The restoration work is in progress at the Ataturk Airport. So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
