John Kerry to arrive on official visit to Georgia

The United States  Department of State has confirmed US Secretary of State John Kerry  official visit to  Georgia  on July 6. 

The US Department of State spokesperson John Kirby today announced details of Kerry’s upcoming visit. He said the US official  would meet with Georgia’s Prime Minister, President and leaders of opposition political parties.  

The major focus of the meetings will be  Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as upcoming  Parliamentary Elections. 

 Kerry will co-chair  the Us -Georgia Strategic Partnership Commission Plenary Meeting on July 6. 

After visiting Georgia, Kerry will head to Ukraine and then on to Warsaw, Poland to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Summit on July 8-9.
