" We are moving forward with the issue of cooperation and support of Georgia,"- Jens Stoltenberg

" We welcome the progress Georgia has achieved and will continue to support them,"- NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has made a statement before the official opening of NATO Summit in Warsaw.

According to Jens Stoltenbers, Georgia is a candidate country for NATO membership and the alliance continues cooperation.

"This summit demonstrates that NATO"s door remains open. We are in the process, when our number increases to 29 when Montenegro finally joins us. We are working with Georgia and Ukraine as the closest partners. When we talk about Georgia, it is an applicant country. We work with them, support their efforts of modernize army and meet NATO standards. We have granted a substantial package at the last Summit and work on implementation, give advices, send there our advisers,- said Jens Stoltenberg.

He also underlined importance of the training center which has been opened in Georgia.
