8 Years after the Russian-Georgian war - To commemorate the date and honor fallen soldiers poppy action was held at Mukhatgverdi cemetery. The cemetery is visited by the war heroes` family members and relatives, as well as ordinary citizens . Flowers and candles are placed on the graves to commemorate the tragic events of 2008.

Besides ordinary citizens and soldiers, the representatives of the Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation, and also members of the new political center Girchi have come to the cemetery. They condemned the Russian aggression and paid tribute to the fallen heroes.
