Government officials and citizens coming to Mukhatgverdi cemetery since morning

August 8, 2008, the day of remembrance of those who died during the Russian-Georgian war. Politicians, relatives of deceased and ordinary citizens have been coming to Mukhatgverdi cemetery since morning to commemorate this date.

Prime Minister and other government officials are expected to arrive in one hour. The former Defense Minister,Tina Khidasheli arrived at the cemetery a few minutes ago .

The cemetery has been visited by representatives of the Intelligence Service.

According to official information, more than 400 people, including civilians, military and police personnel were killed during the 2008 war.
