Occupants in Zemo Sobisi - Population demands to return them harvest


Creeping occupation continues in Georgia. Russian combines have appeared in the village of Zemo Sobisi, Gori region. Russian occupiers are harvesting crops, Planted by Georgians in spring.
By this time Russian occupants seized more six hectares.
According to locals, Russian occupiers placed their land Border marker a few months ago, after they had completed seeding.


ketevan Tsikhelashvili, a State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality has already arrived to the village. She states that already had a communication with the EU Monitoring Mission.
" We have discussed the situation and our demands. These demands are not only legal, but also humanitarian. The people, who made such hard work and put all the resources should have an opportunity to get their harvest. This is not the first tine since 2008. We have a very difficult situation,"- Ketevan Tsikhelashvili said.
