The President of Georgia Palace hosted the Olympic team. The Georgian President has awarded Georgian Olympian athletes orders of Honor.

By the President’s order, Vladimer Khenchigshvili, Lasha Talakhadze, Varlma Liparteliani, Lasha Shavdatuashvili, Smagi Bolkvadze, Irakli Turmanidze and Geno Petriashvili were awarded for making special contribution to the Georgian sport by earning medals at Rio Olympic Games.

The President and First Lady hosted the athletes at the presidential palace. The reception was attended by Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs and representatives of the Olympic Committee and the presidential administration.
