Samtredieli policeman, Gocha Tevzadze, who was charged by the Prosecutor`s Office, a few hours ago, still has not been arrested. Tevzadze`s family members say he is cooperating with the investigation and is not guilty. Moreover, they believe that Guram Tevzadze s an honest policeman.

Different is the attitude of Demur Sturua`s family. They believe that he should be arrested and that Tevzadze is guilty. The family say that if before the expiration of 40 days from the death of Demur Sturua a former policeman is detained, they will gather at his house and go on hunger strike.

Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center say that Sturua was physically abused the death and that could have had a systematic character.

At 7pm, the Prosecutor`s Office will make an announcement on this topic.
