Members of the committee for Sakdrisi survival and representatives of various non-governmental organizations are assembled at the Ministry of Culture, they protest against  current  developments in the mine.

However, the Minister of Culture said to :Kurieri” that all decisions were taken in accordance with the law.

"This process has been ongoing for many months.. Perhaps the biggest reason for this disorder is, on the one hand, the lack of involvement from the public in the process and on the other hand certain manipulation of the problem," - said Mikhail Giorgadze

The protest at the Ministry is still going on. The stones brought from  Sakhdrisi  where symbolically laid at the Ministry of Culture.
