Imedi, Maestro, GDS and Public Broadcasting will order the survey for elections together.
Officially the survey will be published under the name of TNS while the field work will be implemented by GORBI. The fact raises questions of media experts and politicians.
Another problem is Public Broadcaster"s participation in a joint project. Despite the protest of members of the Board , the channel management had made his decision.
All four TV channels have to pay 900 000 USD for the joint exit polls. The Public Broadcaster pays 200 thousand USD out of this sum. The Public Broadcaster"s board members are interested why other three TV channels have agreed to provide benefits to Georgian Public Broadcaster.
Director General of the Public Broadcasting did not give the answer today. He is abroad.
A Director General of Rustavi2 commented on the issue today, According to Nika Gvaramia, the fact proves that all TV companies are pro-governmental and work in interests of government.
The company GFK will conduct exit polls for Rustavi2. The survey will be carried out in six cities- Tvilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori and Rustavi, It will be held in five regions as well- in Kakheti, Kvenmo Kartli, Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara.
