The lawyer of the arrested policemanGoderdzi Tevzadze did not rule out that Demur Sturua was killed. As the lawyer says,his client has no connection with the case.

As Lady Tukvadze said, today an independent expert`s opinion on whether Sturua was beaten and how authentic his letter is will be known

"We will prove to the public and will give full information that no torture or physical abuse took place. This may be a murder, and we will talk about it, "- said the lawyer, Lady Tukvadze.

Tevzadze`s family demands an objective investigation and release of the detainee. They have appealed to the district prosecutor`s office and held a rally at the Kutaisi prosecutor`s office. Today, Tevsadze`s wife is planning to go on hunger strike.
