The number of employees at Tbilisi City Council has inincreased by 45% in the period of 2011-2015 years. The City Council bureaucracy- is the title of a study prepared by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information.

According to the document, since 2013 labor compensation fund of the council members doubled compared to 2011. The renumeration of the Council members in 2015 has increased by 331 thousand and 300 in comparison to 2011 , while the staff remuneration has increased by 2 700 million.
