People started to gather at Heroes` Square at the end of teh day to commemorate the anniversary of the fall of Sukhumi. The members of the Abkhaz Union arrived at the memorial and read the names of the fallen soldiers.

The photo exhibition depicting the Abkhazia war was organized on the square. The National Movement members were also present at Heroes` Square . Politicians once again recalled the events of 1993.
