A prisoner"s mother said that her son, a  40-year-old convict applied for extreme forms of protest and is on hunger strike for the  tenth  day. The family members claim he was arrested and sentenced to 6 years" imprisonment unjustly.

 The Minister made a statement on prison inmates.George Mgebrishvili noted that the maximum attention is paid to the prisoners and they receive  medical assistance. However,  the Minister did not comment on this particular case.
