The head of the IDFI has resigned. This decision was taken by Giorgi Kldiashvili  due to the ongoing investigation. Giorgi Kldiashvili has been detained for two days by  law enforcement officers. This fact was followed by protests not only from NGOs but  the majority as well.

Tina Khidasheli  thinks that all persons who have abused their rights in the case of Kldiashvili`s arrest should be  punished.

The Interior Ministry does not agree with the accusations of civil society and claim that the law was not violated, but NGOs have their own opinions about the ongoing investigation.
