The President attended the Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony and lit himself a candle in the synagogue.

The President spoke about the role of  the Jewish people  in the state development and  promised the Jewish population in Georgia the support in  the protection and development of  the religious and cultural traditions.

Hanukkah celebration was attended by  Ambassador of Israel  Yuval Fuchs, the Chief Rabbi, the Mayor and City Council Chairman.
