The Prime Minister congratulated the Patriarch on the  37 years of enthronement oand noted that  Ilia the Second has always been an example of patriotism,  philanthropy ,forgiveness and love.

"The Georgian people in the past 37 yearshad to face a lot of challenges , and it is very important that you were always associated with hope and comfort of the nation, of our people. You always stand side by side the nation in times of adversity and times of feast. On behalf of the government and the army, I want to congratulate you with all my heart. I wish you courage, great energy and a long life. I believe that with  your blessing  our people, will be united and our country will be united, "- he said.

Recalling  the past 37 years, the patriarch  said he has never  despaired
