According to the National Tourism Administration unprecedented increase in tourists was noted last year. Giorgi Chogovadze,head of administration, says that 5 million 493 thousand 492 international travelers entered Georgia in 2014 , of which 2 million 218 thousandvisited the country as tourists and the rest came to study or work. National Tourism Administration says that compared to 2013, the number of tourists in Georgia in 2014 increased by 1.9%.
