Gold mining in the disputed areas has been continued. The company"s term of the license, which expired on December 31, was extended for 5 years by the Ministry of Environment so that the gold mining rights were given to"RMG- gold" in that part of Sakdrisi which was stripped of the cultural heritage status. The legislative body has only taken the decision to set up the investigation commission, which will start to operate after its approval. The initiative of opposition was supported by 58 lawmakers. The Commision will study the decision allowing RMG Gold to continue gold mining, the fact of depriving Sakdrisi of cultural heritage status as well as the legality of the explosion.If the Commission finds any violations, the case will be filed in the prosecutor"s office. The commission will be composed of 12 members and needs 76 votes to be approved.The composition of the commission is unknown yet. However, it is known that the ruling coalition will have 6 quotas
