Four months after commencement of Constitutional Commission ruling team and opposition could not agree on many issues

Four months after the commencement of the Constitutional Commission, the ruling team and opposition have not yet agreed on many issues.

Political parties consider several issues principal, including a reduction of 5% threshold in the elections. The opposition believes that this indicator is too high and reduces the chances of multi-party parliament.

Another requirement of the opposition is related to the distrubution of mandates remaining after the elections. By the initiative of the ruling party, such mandates must
be assigned to the party that comes first, and in the opinion of the opposition it puts other parties in unfair terms.

Another issue where the opposition and the ruling team fail to agree is the reduction of the president`s powers.

The constitutional commission has already been left by State for the people and the National Movement
