TheEuropean Georgia supports and joins the declaration for the protectionof the constitution . Otar Kakhidze, chairperson of the parliamentary faction European Georgia says that defining the opinion of the public on the amendments to the constitution should be a priority.

"Every government that opposes the will of the Georgian people.will lose Therefore, it is the principle of European Georgia and we have declared it publicly that we should hold a plebiscite and for carrying out this plebiscite we are ready to walk door to door in all districts, "said Otar Kakhidze.

Civil Movement Protect the Constitution signed a special declaration. The document comprises 8 paragraphs, but particularly unacceptable for the opposition is the change of the rule of the president`s elections and the electoral system.
