Bidzina Ivanishvili’s "Cartu" foundation initiates to build new Technological University . Organization refuses to speak about the details but reportedly consultations with the Mayor and the Minister of Education are underway.

The Minister of Education underlines that the negotiations with the American University are underway. Still unknown who will be partners of the University.

The government is selling on auction the University building in Batumi constructed during Mikheil Saakashvili"s presidency for 25 million dollars.
