Foreign Ministry started working on the case of 23 Georgian sailors

Up to now it was impossible to render help to the Georgians who are on 5 different ships.
23 citizens of Georgia for several months are on board of ships in the Cotonou Gulf in Africa. They are asking for help, because the Greek company that has hired the vessels no longer comes into contact with them.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is trying to obtain information on the vessels and the citizens.
Ministry spokesperson, David Kereselidze, said that they contacted the relevant consulates which are trying to connect with sailors.
Crews have been left without food and water supplies. They were stuck in the waters of the African Maritime. Transport Agency of Batumi has provided the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with detailed information.
