The monument of Otar Meghvinetukhutsesi was opened in the "April 9 Square" in Tbilisi today.

Today is the birthday of the People"s Artist and the openning ceremony was symbolically planned for this day. The opening was attended by the Mayor, the actor"s colleagues and family members.

The author of the sculpture is Levan Vardosanidze .
