Pankisi population protested against French publication"s editorial policy in the village of Duisi.Protesters gathered here from almost all villages of the valley. Their main message to "Charley Hebdo" was that the magazine was to stop publishing the caricatures of the prophet.

"We do not approve the killing of people, of course, we just want to stop the abuse of our Prophet, do not want mocking cartoons to be published," - say the locals. The protestors explained that the French magazine abuses freedom of speech and offends religion by the released materials. Local elder"s council intends to issue the statement regarding the processes around "Charley Hebdo" in the coming days, as well.
