The funeral ceremony of six-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan was held in Gyumri today.

Many toys have been brought to the church by the mourners who came to bid farewell to six-month-old Seryozha who died in hospital on Monday.

The President of Armenia hasn’t attended the ceremony,

The Mayor of Gyumri refuses to make comments on Russian as a sign if protest.

Other six members  of  Avestyan family had been  killed last week. Valery Permyakov, a serviceman of the 102nd Russian Military Base in the city, stands accused in this crime. He was questioned today. According to the agreement he will be judged in Armenia in accordance with Russian law.
