Amendments to the law on broadcasting would be further discussed in the Parliament today The new bill, which significantly reduces advertising revenues of the media, imposes strict restrictions on broadcasters.
According to the changes the advertisments should be included not in the prime time and programs with high ratings but distributed evenly and must not exceed 20%. of airtime per hour.
The amedments were discussed by the representatives of media, the diplomatic corps, non-governmental organizations, legislative and executive branch officials yesterday; however, the majority members did not attend the meeting.
