Tbilisi Mayoral Candidate for "Georgian Dream" met with representatives of religious minorities. Religious minorities spoke about the problems that different religious communities have in the country.
In his turn , Kakha Kaladze has presented them with the plan to solve their problems in case of his victory. The meeting was organized by the Institute of Diversity of Tolerance.
Rusudan Gotsiridze, the bishop of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Georgia made an assessment about the meeting.
"What I have missed is the answer about the shortcomings that have been noted regarding religious diversity and tolerance in recent years," - said Gotsiridze.
Tariel Nakaidze, chairman of the Georgian Muslim Union said that the meeting touched upon the construction of a new mosque in Batumi, as well as the challenges in the direction of religious minorities.
