Georgia"s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili made a statement at the Defense and Security Conference today.

The Prime Minister talked about Russia„s actions and said that Russia is continuing militarization.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili paid attention to illegal referendums, military exercises, barbed wire fences and drew attention to closing of the so-called passes.

"Today, their aggressive policy continues and is reflected in such processes as the absorption of occupied territories in the political, economic and social spheres of Russian military security by means of integration agreements, illegal referendums or various programs.

"Continuous militarization expressed by the mobilization of additional military forces in the occupied territories and with dozens of military exercises, only in 2017.

"Maximum isolation of the occupied territories, as well as the closing of so-called crossings, as well as installation of barbed wires and channels in the territory of Georgia," - stated the Prime Minister of Georgia.
