Representatives of the National Democratic Institute will also meet lwith eaders of political parties today. The parliamentary opposition intends to focus on the use of administrative resources and pressure on their candidates. These allegations have been denied by the ruling team, whose representatives will also meet NDI mission today.
The majority explain that the government is accountable primarily to the society and it is important for them to have a detailed and objective observation from the international organizations on the electoral process.
Gigi Tsereteli, member of "European Georgia" states that his team will talk about one of the main problems at the meeting, the use of administrative resources in the election process.
"It is very common for civil servants to engage and influence the election of the commission members as well as voters. This is certainly unacceptable and thiis is prohibited by the law and I think it will probably be the issue of attention, "- Gigi Tsereteli said.
