Representatives of the local opposition have named the internal confrontation in the "Georgian Dream" as the reason for the bloody quarrel in Marneuli.

The population says that there are three groups in the ruling party in Marneuli, including Tamar Naveriani, a former candidate for the Marneuli mayor Amiran Giorgadze, mayoral candidate Temur Amoziev and MP from the party "Georgian Dream".

Opposition mayoral candidates demand urgent investigation into the incident.
