Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University"s 100th Anniversary will be held under the auspices of UNESCO in 2018.

This decision was made by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in support of friendly countries at the 39th session of the General Conference in Paris.

Anniversary events will be held across the country.

A special governmental commission led by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
has been set up to plan and organize events on the international level.
