The state treasury spends about 350 million GEL annually on the four Ministries - Ministry of Energy, Environment, Sport and European Integration. Nearly 2900 people work in these agencies.

Giorgi Kakauridze, the Deputy Minister of Finance cannot say what amount of money will be saved in the budget with the abolishment of four ministries. According to him, optimization mainly concerns administrative resource.
