The CENN responds to the decision of the Government of Georgia on the  abolishment  and structural reorganization of the Ministry of Environment and Environmental Protection.

The organization criticizes the decision of the Georgian government and calls it hasty and unsubstantiated.

According to CENN"s preliminary estimates, the Government of Georgia"s statements reveal the risk of non-transparency of decision making, which can hinder the development of the country"s democratic development and harm Georgia`s image as an international partner country.

The organization appeals to the Government of Georgia and asks the government to prove the necessity of abolishing the Ministry of Environment Protection.
