The Rose square is hosting Cheese Festival. Fifty enterprises producing cheese, including agricultural companies, are participating in the festival.

In the frames of the festival, Georgian cheese made according to traditional, ancient recipes is presented.

The Rose Square also houses European, branded cheese analogues produced in Georgia.

According to Agriculture Minister Levan Davitashvili, in the last period many forgotten types of cheese have been restored and popularized.
