After returning to the homeland of the Georgians deported from Ukraine, the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili has released a statement on social network.
According to Saakashvili, the detention operation of the Georgian citizens was personally led by the head of the security of the Ukrainian President.
Leader of the New Forces Movement writes that Georgians were taken from Kiev to Odessa with three helicopters, and were accompanied by 50 fighters of the Special Forces.According to Mikheil Saakashvili, the participation of the head of Petro Poroshenko"s security was illegal.
Before that, Mikheil Saakashvili assessed the deportation of Georgians as a joint operation of the Special Forces of Ukraine and Georgia, and said that the surnames of the people to be deported were handed over to the Ukrainian side.
"Poroshenko arrived in summer, talked to Ivanishvili about the joint actions against me and agreed to cooperate with them, and after that they have acted jointly," -
