Tamar Chugoshvili, the First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia has hosted the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Tbilisi. The meeting has been held in the legislative body.
According to Tamar Chugoshvili, the main topics of discussion were the steps taken by Georgia in terms of democratic development. The sides focused on constitutional amendments and the conclusion of the Venice Commission.
According to Tamar Chugoshvili, the delegation members were interested in how the European experts" recommendations had been taken into account when making amendments to the Constitution.
Members of the Council of Europe delegation called the meeting productive.
Meetings with the President, the Minister of Justice and the Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ministers, Opposition and Civil Sector are scheduled as well.
