President of "European People"s Party" requires immediate release of Vano Merabishvili. Joseph Dole has released a statement on "Twitter".

The statement says that the decision of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the former prime minister"s case once again shows that the Georgian government uses the court to suppress political opponents.

"The Georgian authorities should immediately release the political prisoner Merabishvili," writes Joseph Dole.
