The US ambassador to Georgia has commented on the alleged detention of Mikheil Saakashvili. According to Jan Kelly, Georgia and Ukraine are partners of the US and expects that they will protect and respect the law. Washington is waiting for the protection and respect of the law.

" Any legal issue in relation to any person must be resolved fairly and in accordance with the law," - Jan Kelly has stated.
