Giorgi Kvirikashvili has commented on the statement of Shota Shalelishvili, the member of Georgian Dream about recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

According to the Prime Minister, there should be a discussion on such a sensitive issue and the state should voice its position.

"The matter is very sensitive, we will discuss this issue and Georgia will announce the position that will be in the interests of the country, considering the international conjuncture and the threats in the region. I respect all MPs, but it is an unacceptable form for me to publish such comments on such sensitive issues by the majority deputy, "Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
