Anzor Chubinidze, Head of State Security Special Service confirms the entry into Bacho Akhalaia"s cell. Akhalaia said in a conversation with "Saturday Courier" that Irakli Gharibashvili and Anzor Chubinidze arrived at the cell with the demand to give testimony against Mikheil Saakashvili.

Anzor Chubinidze did not specify with what purpose he had gone to Matrosov prison and in what status he was allowed to enter the cell of the accused. "Courier" failed to connect with Irakli Gharibashvili.

His wife Ani Nadareishvili says that Anzor Chubinidze and the then Minister of Internal Affairs Irakli Gharibashvili came to Akhalaia"s cell several times.

Akhalaia explains his long silence by the political situation.

Akhalaia"s lawyer, Malkhaz Velijanashvili said that after the statements made by Bacho Akhala, the Prosecutor"s Office is obliged to start investigation.

Georgian Dream"does not believe in details in the scandalous interview " and say that Bacho Akhalaia lied.

The scandalous statements made from Mattrosov prison did not surprise Bacho Akhalaia"s teammates.

Whether the Prosecutor"s Office will investigate the facts of Akhalaia"s TV interview is not clear yet. The chief investigative agency does not make explanations.
