An advocate and a manager of "KvarelMsheni" company deny all accusations regarding the collapse of the ceiling in the "Varketili" metro station and say that the project was controlled directly by the author of project.

The author of the project, Goga Kvaratskhelia, the executive director of the company "Geomaop", said the new ceiling was built on the old anchors. Kvaratskhelia claims that the ankors are still in place today, and this indicates that the problem is not in the project but in its implementation.

Giorgi Jokharidze, Director of KvarelMrsheni, says that he will refrain from accusations at this stage. According to him, they cooperate with the investigation and have already presented all the documents .

Giorgi Jokharidze the project author was supervising the site. He also explained that there was mentioned in the tender proposal that the new construction should be done on old one.

According to Jokharidze," Geomop" had presented them the expertice conclussion that the old construction would endure new weight.
