The parliamentary majority is preparing a resolution on the death of Archil Tatunashvili in Tskhinvali prison.
The main demand of the resolution will be the objective and timely investigation of the incident. In addition, the ruling team demands access of international observers in the occupied regions.
The opposition thinks that the initiative is delayed, but it will support the draft resolution based on the importance of the issue.
"Such actions are unfortunately belated but it should be done. We have called on this government for so long and if we have such a text, we will certainly support it, "saidthe UNM member Giorgi Baramidze.
The initiative will be registered at the bureau session this week, before the ruling team starts working on the text of the resolution.
