Another resolution against the Russian occupation - Georgian MPs hope that the European Parliament will receive the document before the summer.
The resolution will talk about occupation of Georgian territories and Russian aggressive policy. The initiative is supported by all political groups in Brussels.
"It was a really successful visit. We have a very high level of cooperation with the European Parliament. We talked to all the political groups in support of our initiative and we hope to see that this process will go forward. It"s just about certain procedures and it will take time. We think that this resolution should be adopted by June, by the European Parliament, "said Tamar Khulordava, Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration of the Parliament of Georgia.
The need to adopt a new resolution has come after the murder of Archil Tatunashvili in the agenda.
According to the leaders of the "National Movement", Georgia has received support on this issue.
Roman Gotsiridze said that in addition to the situation in the occupied regions at the meeting in the European Parliament, the issue of visa-free travel with the EU was also discussed.
According to Gotsiridze, the Georgian side has received a number of warnings.
