A Chairman of Borjomi City Council and opposition members have met with diplomats. Zaza Chachanidze provided detailed information to the diplomatic corps regarding the developments in the City Council.

The Chairperson of the City Council says that he is ready for negotiations with the Borjomi Mayor, but the meeting should be reasonable.

The opposition claims that the government wants to destroy the only opposition council.

" We, the only oppositional City Council in Georgia have to work in the situation of unprecedented violence and repression",- said Giorgi Giuashvili, the MP of Borjomi Municipality Council from Labor Party.
