" I hope that we will reach an agreement with the opposition and I hope that it will be possible to adopt a united resolution on this issue," said Irakli Kobakhidze, the Parliamentary Chairman, on the resolutions in regard to Archil Tatunashvili.
Kobakhidze says that consultations with the opposition regarding the adoption of the resolution will continue.
"Two resolutions are initiated. Consultations are underway and we will continue them with the representatives of the opposition. Of course, this is our common pain and our task is to confront the common vision with the tragic events that we witness in the occupied regions ", - stated Irakli Kobakhidze.
At this stage, two draft resolutions are registered in the Parliament. "European Georgia" demands to create an analogue of the Magnitsky"s list - the Okodzoria-Tatunashvili list, which will impose sanctions on those, who are suspected in the torture of Georgian citizens. The resolution prepared by the ruling team envisages transferring Tatunashvili"s corpse, launching an international investigation and access of monitors on the occupied territories
