" Almost every request for asylum will be rejected and every Georgian will return to Georgia... Even by force if it is necessary," - said the representative of German Interior Ministry Christian Kloss after the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia today.

The migration of citizens of Georgia and other problems in the frameworks of the visa-free travel were discussed at the meeting.


Representatives of the Interior Ministry of Germany arrived in Georgia for the first time after the mass deportation of Georgian citizens. They discussed risks of increasing crime and number of asylum seekers, which according to their estimates threaten to maintain Georgia"s visa-free travel.

According to the representative of the German MIA, they talked to the Georgian authorities about the steps necessary for maintaining visa-free travel.
