Unprecedented union - 17 political parties will file a joint suit in Strasbourg


The European Court of Human Rights will have to discuss Georgian self-government elections. The opponents of the government are demanding to annul the results of the local self-government elections in 2017 and ask the European Court of Human Rights to study the revealed violations. After the joint sentence was filed in Strasbourg, the Georgian court did not satisfy any of their complaints.

Georgian Dream"s opponents hope that the Strasbourg Court will find violations and will oblige the government to correct them, which will determine that the ruling team has less votes than accordin to the official data.
17 political parties signed a lawsuit today . The parliamentary opposition is also supporting the initiative of the Leaders` Council.
