During his visit to the United States, Giorgi Margvelashvili talked about creeping occupation and Archil Tatunashvili"s murder in the occupied Tskhinvali region.

The President of Georgia held a meeting with Senator Orin Hatch. The president says that Tatunashvili"s case reflects the illegal actions of Russia on the occupied territories.

The meeting focused on Georgia"s Euro-Atlantic integration, the preparation to NATO"s future summit and the security environment in the region.

"On the background of Russia"s unconstructive steps, special importance is given to Georgia"s consistent foreign policy, and in this respect the mobilization of our friendly supporters in the EU and the United States," said Giorgi Abashishvili.
